OceanEx Launches Global 1st VET Perpetual Contract
We are excited to announce that we officially launched VET/USDT perpetual contract trading. OceanEx is the first digital asset trading platform that provides VET perpetual contract worldwide. It aims to deepen the diversity of the contract market and empower VeChain ecosystem.
OceanEx launched perpetual contract on Dec 4th, 2019. As a “USDT standard” contract exchange, currently, we opened BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, and EOS/USDT trading pairs. For VET/USDT perpetual contract trading, users are able to select with up to 5x leverage.Leverage will be gradually increased in the future, so please stay tuned with us. In addition, a series of tailored VET contract platform events will also be promoted soon.
In VET/USDT perpetual contract, VET is the base currency and USDT is the quote currency. The margin and profit & loss are denominated in the base currency. Thus, the margined and settlement is in VET. In order to ensure that the prices involved in VET contract trading are fair, OceanEx has adopted the price weights of Binance and Huobi respectively for the VET price index. Although OceanEx’s perpetual contract only supports web version, App that integrates a perpetual contract trading function will come soon.
Only 4 simple steps to start VET/USDT perpetual contract trading:
(1) Choose the VET/USDT trading pair in the trading section
(2) Transfer funds from your spot trading account to perpetual contract account
(3) Choose the leverage up to 5x (leverage will be gradually increased in the future)
(4) Buy long or sell short according to the market prediction
As for the VET Margin perpetual contract, the trading fees structures are as follows:
- Maker Fee: 0
- Trading Fee: 0.075%
